They say a picture is worth a thousand words and this is never more true than when capturing a face.

A facial close up allow you to capture not only the person, but an expression that freezes a moment in time forever.  One that can never be replicated identically again.

This is where a keen eye, coupled with the right tools, such as a high speed shutter for fast repetitive shots, is essential to be able to capture just the right moment in time to tell the story.

Faces are amazing subjects and can offer a true insight into the person themselves or the experience they are participating in.

Please understand that these sample photo's are candid, taken on location where ever the opportunity arose and have been shot over a period of many years with cameras ranging from the lowest resolution mobile phones, to current high quality Digital SLR's.  The idea is to show you the capture ... not dwell upon the quality of the device that happened to be at hand at the time.  When contracted for professional photography, we only use high quality equipment.
